Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know they're not really boots. But I love that song. By Nancy Sinatra or Jessica Simpson, I think it's so catchy and sassy, don't you? I made my walk yesterday. After working about 10 hours in my office at home, I knew that I hadn't gotten it in yet. Around 7:30 p.m. Suz called and asked if I had taken my walk yet. Since I knew that it didn't really have to be walking, that it could be moving of any sort, in the back of my mind I thought well, I could just do some other type of activity for 30 minutes or better yet, hadn't I moved for 30 minutes all together throughout the day? But then I realized. . . and she reminded me. . . I was accountable to my faithful friends and family, and I wasn't gonna do anything other than exactly what I said I would. So. . .
I got my booty up out of the chair, gathered these things, put on a jacket and got going. I didn't have too much time left because. . .
I love this windmill, and I make pictures of it a lot. It almost always has a different look to it. I think it just reminds me of South Georgia.
Taking that walk, I got to smell the unmistakeable smell that simply can't be duplicated of freshly cut grass. Now, that conjures up thousands of memories for everybody, doesn't it. From being a little girl watching your mama or daddy cut the grass to being a mommy watching your hubby ride your sweet baby on the lawn mower. Ummm. I love the smell of cut grass. I chose to listen to my ipod rather than anything else and I had to stop myself from singing out loud. Didn't want to scare anyone that might be out on their front porch or anything.
I'm so glad Suz held me accountable. That time out of the house cleared my head, relaxed me, got my heart rate up, and was inspirational all at the same time. It was a good thing. A very good thing.

Finished my book last night. It was good. I'm ready to pick up another. Karla has recommended another one and I'm gonna get it today while I'm out. I'm officially out of my reading funk.
