Parents were notified Sunday that the Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy in Henry County is closed indefinitely as a student is suspected to have the H1N1, or swine flu, virus.
On its website Monday, Eagle’s Landing President Tim Dowdy said the school received word from The Centers for Disease Control and the Henry County Health Department that one of their middle school students may be infected with the virus. Dowdy wrote that the school will remain closed until further notice as a preventative measure. The health department will contact parents today of any student who may have been exposed to the virus.

I live in Henry County. Cam doesn't go to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, but has friends who do. It's about 7 miles from my house and about 5 from his school. Heavens to Murgatroyd. This is a lot closer than Mexico or New Zeland. But I'm not gonna panic. I'm simply going to get my paper sack out and take some deep breaths and go on about my day.
Till tomorrow, bye, y'all!

We were talking about this on the way to school this morning! Autumn said wonder when it was gonna hit their school. Ms. Liz is taking Josh this morning as a precaution. (This is Derek's business partner's wife and son) Josh just had a runny nose but she didn't want to take any chances. I noticed on Saturday that Chic-fil-a is including a wetnap in the bag with hand sanitizer in it. Hopefully this too will pass without anyone getting it in our family! Love you and have a great day:)
