Sometimes You're the Bug

I posted yesterday midafternoon. Since then we got a call from the fraud detection services from our bank that MY debit card number had been stolen. Someone made a counterfeit card and tried to use it at Wal-Mart in Arizona. Fortunately, it was declined. Now I have to go to the bank and fill out all the paperwork and wait a week for a new debit card, but at least they didn't empty my checking account.

This morning Suz fixed breakfast for us. She's turning into quite the cook. She made the most awesome grits, bacon, eggs, fruit and cinnamon rolls. I love breakfast. It's by far my favorite meal. I took this picture of Eli with my Blackberry. Isn't his hair adorable? I wish I could look that cute when I wake up in the morning. Believe me, though, my hair and his do look a lot alike in the morning. I always have a big rat's nest in the back. He did too. We had to go up to her house to pick up a camper that Cam bought to take to his hunting land. The man that Cam bought it from lived in Buford, so Jason was so sweet to deal with the man and get it to his house for us to get. Jeff and I drove the Escape and Ross came up in his big Dodge diesel so he could pull it home. Ross and Cam stopped by Bass Pro on their way back home (remember they are their mother's sons, and they love to shop! About 20 minutes ago Ross called me and said that his truck was DEAD on the side of 285 and he was going to need a tow truck. Thankfully, while I was calling my dad to get a wrecker's number, Ross called me back and said a tow truck had stopped and asked if they needed towing. Finally a tiny bit of good luck. The wrecker is bringing Ross's truck and the camper and my two sons home.

I don't really feel too much like going out tonight, but then again, I'm tired of wallowing in my misery. I really do know that everything could be so much worse. Honestly, though, I'm beginning to be afraid of each day, wondering what calamity is going to come my way. This run of bad luck has just got to end soon. Surely. Hopefully. Don't you think?

Till tomorrow, I remain. . .

Well, I really enjoyed y'alls visit! (Crappy pedicure and all.) I know it seems like life is really giving you lemons, but it's also giving you lemonade, because all of these things are fixable and not terrible, terrible. So hold your head up and know that you are loved :0)

I know it sounds trite but hang in there. I had my debit card # stolen also. Someone bought a computer in Illinois!

It's awful- but it all gets resolved.

We changed our bank account completely-
