Ugh!

Our microwave oven quit working today. Ross was heating up pizza and bam, it quit working. No lights, no sound, n-o-t-h-i-n-g. I have spent the past hour looking for the owner's manual. Which, BTW, would be 15 years old. I found owner's manuals for almost every other thing we put in this house when we built it. Even the front door. As if you need an owner's manual for your front door. But I couldn't find the manual for the stupid microwave oven. I'm almost certain that the microwave is ready for the dump. We'll have to get another one. We really only use it to heat up coffee or cold food from the fridge or pop a bag of popcorn. But when you want to do one of those things, you've got to have a microwave. I hope I can find an inexpensive one. Ugh.

Then when we got home from my mom and dad's house tonight, Ross started looking for his cell phone that was in his pants that Jeff had picked up and put in the washer. Ross went nuts. Jeff went nuts. They both went to bed mad at themselves and each other. Now Ross has gotta get a new cell phone and he's not eligible for an upgrade till the 19th of June. Ugh.

I've always heard that when it rains, it pours. And when it pours, it comes down in threes. I sure hope not.

Goodnight!

When I need a manual, I just look up the model on the internet and almost always find some help.

Hey Kelly~ This is definitely a long-shot...if you haven't tossed the cell phone yet, there MAY be a solution. 1.) remove the battery, 2.) take the phone, the battery and the battery cover and put them all in an airtight container of uncooked rice, 3.)leave them UNTOUCHED for 2-3 days. I don't know if it will work, after going through the wash, but it (MIRACULOUSLY) worked for me, after I dropped my phone in LI Sound last weekend! I was amazed and the phone is as good as new.

Like the previous commenter, my husband always looks manuals up on the internet, but if your microwave is 15 years old you might just need another one.

I love your profile. It makes me want to keep coming back to visit your blog.
