Mother Ocean

How would you like to make your coffee and look out the window to that view? I think I could get used to it. It was a beautiful, sunny day here in Panama City yesterday. Looks to be the same today. I don't think I've ever laid by the pool wearing a fleece jacket, covering up with a beach towel, but that's what I did yesterday. It's chilly. Sunny, but chilly.

There are lots of Spring breakers here. I had dinner last night at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. The wait was over two hours. I sat at the bar, which was really part of the restaurant and had my dinner there. It was okay. Just okay. I think I'm just a really picky diner. As I always say, I'm my father's daughter. He's always really picky when he goes out to eat. But heck, when you spend you hard earned money to eat out, you expect it to taste at least as good as something you'd make yourself at home. The atmosphere there was great. I guess that's what people wait over two hours for. I could give y 'all a description full of adjectives about my fish tacos (which, BTW, I really do like), but I'm just not gonna do it.
Instead, I'll share some pictures of Mother Ocean.
Thank goodness the boys were courteous and left their Sperry shoes outside last night when they got back in. I don't know if any of you have ever had the pleasure, but those leather shoes smell worse than anything I can think of. Except Ross's boots after he tracked a deer through a swamp.
The boys are riding Mopeds today. If they had only known it was going to be this cold, they could've brought their ski bibs. I may check out the indoor pool. I'm doing my 30 minutes of walking too. How are y'all doing with yours? I used the stairs yesterday instead of the elevator. That's to make up for all the cookies I'm eating. There are lots of amazing shops too. I'm definitely going to pop in a few of those. I haven't bought an Easter dress yet. I've had a new Easter dress every year since I was born. I think it hurts my dad's heart when we girls don't get a new dress for Easter. I'll look for one while I'm here.
Enjoy your day!

Hi Beach Bum:) I love the beach, one of my favorite times is sitting on the balcony first thing in the morning and drinking my coffee. I love to visit but would not like to live there. Thanks for the beautiful pictures! I HAVE been walking. Just got back from the Mall. It works best for me when I can't get out. I walk really fast and I scope out shops I want to go in and when I am finished I get to shop. Love you bunches and glad you are still giving us a daily dose of Kelly Kelly!!!!!!

I don't care how chilly it is --just sitting looking out at the ocean is heaven----we always go to Margaritaville in Vegas. I love their Nachos. And besides --after enough Margaritas, who cares what the food tastes like. (tee, hee)

The beach looks wonderful, even if it is a bit chilly. But I have one question.

WHEN is it EVER too cold to wear flip flops???

Oh yes! It would be wonderful to look out at that view everyday. Glad that you all are having a good vacation. We have gone to Panama City many times and always have fun.

Travel safe when you return home!
