Next Up

After reading so much about it and trying the trial version, I went on E-bay and placed my bid and won. I got it for nearly half the retail price. I was so excited. The bidding is almost as much fun as getting the item that you're bidding for. It's such an adrenaline surge. Anyway, here's what I'm talking about.
All you photo buffs out there may already have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements or some other editing program for your photos. I don't have anything. All my pictures are right out of my camera. All I ever do to them is take out the red eye or crop them. I can hardly wait to get into this program and play around with my pictures.

It's a pretty powerful program and it has lots of bells and whistles. It doesn't really come with any sort of manual to help guide you. Just a couple of pages with some shortcuts and that's about it. So yesterday after my job, I stopped by the bookstore and bought this.
I paid nearly as much for the book as I did for the software. Well, not quite, but it was $44. That seems a lot for an instruction book, but I stayed up till 1 o'clock reading it and highlighting things and flagging pages. I'm so into it. Maybe by the time I have grandchildren I'll have it figured out.

Do any of you use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements? Do you have any tips to share? I'd sure love to hear about them if so.

Not much on my plate for today. Just working a bit this morning and hanging out by the pool this afternoon. Or maybe playing with my pictures if the sun doesn't show its beautiful face.

Till tomorrow.

I don't have any of the software for pictures but will be anxious to hear all about it from you! I tend to follow your lead... uh not so good for that "speak and it types it for you in a foreign language software":) Love you and hope your day is filled with sunshine and all things HAPPY! Love you, Auntie

Can't wait to see how it works for you. My camera actually has a pretty good editing package with it, although I'm sure nothing compared to that. I've definitely heard lots of amazing stuff it does with your photos.
Love you and hope you have a happy Saturday :0)
