Baseball, Snowcones and a Saxophone

Yesterday was such a fun day. After putting heat on my feet and ice on my head, taking two Excedrin Migraine and getting back in bed, I woke up again mostly migraine free. Reid had a tournament game, so I got to see him play. Eli had a makeup game from last week's winter blast, so he was dressed in his Cub uniform when he got there. Have you ever seen a cuter cub in your life? He wanted one of those ice "fangs" like Nayna (that's what he calls Alayna) had. Assuming he meant snowcone, I took him to get one. He knew the color he wanted right away. He's a very decisive four-year-old.

Reid's team lost the game and it was a single-elimination tournament. I didn't get a single good picture of Reid playing because I was stuck behind the chain link fence and I didn't have my big camera to get a good zoom. I forget how much fun it is to hang out at the ballpark until I go to a game and I really do miss it. Sometimes I miss having little ones so bad it makes my heart hurt. And then other times I'm so glad I don't have little ones I could shout from the rooftops. It's a funny in-between position.
AlaynaWe all went to my mom and dad's for supper last night. We had the best time. My dad is a bit of a -- well, he's a junk collector. He buys things and oftentimes will resell them. Sometimes he buys things just because it's something he's never owned before. Such as a. . . saxophone. He bought one Saturday and brought it out last night. Man, you have to have a lot of hot air to make a sound come out of one of those things! Kenny G makes it look so easy. If you were able to make it work, then we had you march like you were in a band. Blowing a horn and marching at the same time would really take a lot of practice. It's even harder than patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time. We all have a newfound respect for marching bands that's for sure. They're very talented, coordinated people.

Ross has jury duty this week. He hopes he doesn't get picked. I love it when I get picked, although I haven't been called in years and I hear a lot of that stuff in my depos.

Guess that's it for Monday. Y'all know I'm not a Monday kinda gal, so sorry I'm not more interesting today. Oh, yeah, how long does it take y'all to get used to the Daylight Savings Time? I love it once I adjust, but oh, my goodness till then. . .

Cute pictures! Wish I had seen the marching band at the Sunday evening dinner:) I know, without a doubt, that it would have been good for a bend over double laugh!
Love you and have a great Monday

We did have such fun!!
Y'all need to come to more games, especially on beautiful days like yesterday. It's fun to chill and not feel like there's something else you need to be doing.
Love you and hope your neck is feeling better :-0)

Love the pictures! So cute. And it usually takes me at least a week to adjust to the time change. I hate it. :(

Haha! I love the blue tongue pictures...I've got some that look just like those! Springing forward gets me all out of whack...it takes me forever to get used to it. Hope you feel better soon. :)
