Pot of Gold

Have y'all heard about all the gold parties the girls around here are having? Crystal's office had one Wednesday and she sold a few old, broken pieces of gold jewelery and made herself some surprise spending money. So I decided to go through my jewelery box and see what I had. I knew I had a few things that were broken and were outdated and just downright ugly. You know, some of the things we wore back in the '80s were just not very pretty and will never go in anybody's "vintage" jewelery collection. I figured there was no harm in selling my stuff that was just sitting in my jewelery box. I had several things and took them to the same lady that bought Crystal's and got myself a nice check right there on the spot. I'm gonna get some work done this morning and then I think I'm going to go out and do a little shopping! :-)

TGoodnessIF. My favorite day of the week.

A "Golden" opportunity that you just couldn't pass up! Cindy's friend, Rhonda, went to a party and was thinking about having one herself. I think if you have a party you get 10% of the total loot. Enjoy your shopping. It's such a pretty world today... Look at the sunshine, ooh ooh ooh:)

Love you!

Yay - congrats on your cash!

I went to a Cash For Gold party last year. I took all of my single earrings, twisted chains and miscellaneous junk I was never going to wear again - and made $385. Which was awesome because the reason I did it was to buy myself an Amazon Kindle - and that is one purchase I will never regret!

I haven't heard of anyone having those around here. I ordered the kit to mail in your gold but then chickened out. I'd love to find one where you can actually keep your eyes on your stuff while they figure out what it's worth.

Hope you bought yourself something fun with that cha-ching.
